DEK Advisory Group is a leading Australian financial planning practice servicing Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. We advise individuals, families and retirees on superannuation, retirement, investments and personal insurance. The advice starts with your situation, never with a product.
What we do
Most people come to us with one question and leave with a plan that connects all of it. Here is where we spend our time.
Getting your super working properly, then turning it into a reliable income when you stop working.
An investment approach matched to your goals, your timeframe and how much risk you actually want to take.
Personal insurance sized to what your household would actually need, not to a number off a chart.
Working out what you are entitled to, and helping with the paperwork most people find impenetrable.
Why DEK
You deal with the person who wrote your advice. Dion and Erica have run this practice together for years, and that is deliberate. It means we know your circumstances without having to look them up, and you are never handed down a queue.
We start by understanding who you are and what you want to achieve. Your needs come before ours, every time.
Deep experience across superannuation, retirement, insurance and Centrelink, kept current through ongoing training.
Markets move and circumstances change. You get priority access to your adviser so your strategy stays relevant.
Personal and financial details are stored securely and never released to anyone without your consent.
How it works
Every engagement follows the same path, and you know the cost before anything is prepared.
A first conversation about your goals, your income, assets, debts, insurance and super. No cost, no obligation.
We set out what the advice will cover and what it will cost in writing, before any work begins.
Your strategy is documented in a Statement of Advice explaining the reasoning, the recommendations and every cost.
We handle the paperwork with the product providers, then review the plan with you as your circumstances change.
Before you engage us, please read our Financial Services Guide. It explains the advice process, how we are paid, our relationship with our licensee and how to make a complaint. Download the Financial Services Guide (PDF).
Fees
Advice fees depend on how complex your situation is, and we agree the actual figure with you in writing before any work begins. The rates below are our published starting points.
We do not receive commissions on new superannuation, managed funds or retirement products. We may receive commission on life insurance policies, and where we do, the amount is disclosed to you in your advice document. Full detail is in our Financial Services Guide.
